Nasong’o Muliro Wilfred has over fifteen years’ experience in the academic sector and has lectured in Strathmore University, University of Nairobi, Technical University of Kenya and United States International University- Africa (USIU-A). His research interests include Kenya’s foreign policy and national interests, regional security and African Union (AU) peace operations. He is an alumnus of King’s College London (MA Conflict, Security and Development), University of Nairobi (MA International Studies) and Kenyatta University (B.Ed.). He is a recipient of the following awards: African Leadership Centre (ALC- London/Nairobi) fellowship; International Peace Institute (New York) award under African Junior Professionals fellowship, and the Social Science Research Council (New York) Fellow. He has published book chapters, journal articles and media commentaries. He has consulted for various organizations in Kenya and Somalia. He has previously worked at GLOCEPS as a Research Fellow for Foreign Policy Pillar.
