Is a spatial data scientist offering solutions around the automation of spatial data processing including Earth Observation (EO) data. He is interested in the application of spatial data in providing sustainable solutions to current problems in various fields including, agriculture and disaster risk reduction (DRR). He is also keen on building skills in spatial econometrics and crop phenotyping. He has previously worked with the Center for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces(ZFL) of the University of Bonn, Germany where he worked on the use of space-based Earth information for disaster risk reduction with a specific focus on African applications. Early in his career, he worked with two NGOs; Precision Development (PxD) and AgriBora, leveraging on useful insights from spatial data to boost the production of small holder farmers and subsequently their incomes. Currently at the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT, he supports spatial and related data analysis for the Climate Security Observatory (CSO), Livestock and Climate, Fragility Migration and Conflict amongst other initiatives.
