Njoki Mboce, honored with the Head of State Commendation in 2021, is a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, scholar, and policy consultant. Operating through Njoki Mboce & Company Advocates, she handles complex litigation, alternative dispute resolution, public policy advisory, and legal drafting. She Is a Council Member of the Law Society of Kenya and teaches law at the University of Nairobi, where she's a Doctoral Scholar focusing on international maritime boundary disputes. She expertise extends internationally, as a former Visiting Fellow at the University of Cape Town and the Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis in New Delhi. An Associate Member of the Association of Maritime Practitioners - Kenya, she is a driving force in maritime affairs through her involvement in the Maritime Centre/FishFORCE Academy and as founder and CEO of Utafiti Hub, a multidisciplinary think-tank. With a significant role in Kenya's organization of the Global Sustainable Blue Economy Conference, she is a vital contributor to research, capacity building, and publications on sustainable maritime governance.
