Dr Westen Shilaho, a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Pan-African Thought and Conversation, University of Johannesburg, and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Peace and International Studies at Daystar University, is an esteemed researcher in the field of international criminal justice. His focus encompasses topics such as the International Criminal Court in Africa,responsibility to protect, Africa's democratic transitions, conflict, state-building, elections in Africa, transitional justice, and the BRICS-Africa partnership.
