Dr Eng Joseph Kibere Njoroge is an accomplished professional with over forty years of experience in leadership, management, and engineering across diverse sectors. His expertise encompasses Engineering Management, Infrastructure Development, Business Management, and Leadership Policy & Management. Notably, he served as the Managing Director of Kenya Power and Lighting Company Limited (KPLC) from 2007 to 2013 and later as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum until 2018. Subsequently, he held key positions in the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Transport, and Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation. Dr Njoroge is a certified Trainer in Corporate Governance and has been recognized for his contributions to national development with prestigious awards, including the Member of the Burning Spear (MBS) and Chief of the Burning Spear (CBS). He holds a distinguished academic background, including a 1st Class Honours degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi. Additionally, he is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, UK; a Registered Consulting Engineer; a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya and a member of the Institute of Directors, Kenya.
