Biography

Mr. Denis Muniu is the Centre’s Research Assistant for the Security and

Defence Pillar. He has previously worked at the Ministry of Foreign and

Diaspora Affairs in the East African Community Affairs Directorate where he was involved in undertaking research and providing reports on EAC

integration. He has also worked in the Ministry of East African Community, Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs), and Regional Development where he was attached to the Directorate of Social Affairs. His research interests are in the areas of peace, security and development. Denis holds a BA Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from The Technical University of Kenya (TUK).
