GLOCEPS team of experts and associates led by Dr. K.O. Asembo, PHD – Ag. Executive Director held a consultative meeting with First and Second Secretary Political Section, Ms. Kobayashi Noriko and Ms. Sumire Kobayashi of the Embassy of Japan at its premises. Meeting discussed possible areas of collaboration between GLOCEPS and Japanese Think tanks.

The Ag. Executive D Dr. Ken Asembo attended the 2nd High Level Horn of Africa Dialogue series in Addis Ababa,  Ethiopia from 18th -21st April, organized by Ethiopia’s Institute of Foreign Affairs. He later held a consultative meeting with H.E Mr Jafar Bedru, the  Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs.

The Global Centre for Policy and Strategy (GLOCEPS) hosted representatives from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) panel of experts team for a consultative meeting on peace and development for the African region on 31st October 2023

GLOCEPS, KIPPRA, IEA-Kenya and Southern Voice co-hosted a three (3) day conference on sustainable Development Goals and contributions of the Global South held from
24th-26th October 2023 Nairobi, Kenya.

GLOCEPS hosted the Trends Research and Advisory UAE-based team led by Dr. Mohammed Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer. Both Institutions discussed the need to strengthen their existing research programs and pursue other areas of cooperation aligned with their respective priorities.
